1. Agreement to Terms
By registering an account, installing the InkMate desktop spooler application, connecting your WhatsApp number, or using any associated services provided by InkMate Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("InkMate", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the platform.
These terms apply to print shop merchants, Xerox and copy centers, franchise operators, hardware partner dealers, and any end-users uploading documents through a shop upload link or WhatsApp channel.
2. Description of Service
InkMate provides a print management and automation platform consisting of:
- A customer-facing web portal allowing walk-in customers to upload documents (PDF, DOCX, images) via a unique shop QR code or URL.
- An autonomous WhatsApp bot integration that receives customer documents, calculates page counts and pricing, and relays jobs to print queues.
- A lightweight local desktop client that communicates securely with physical printers to spool files without manual downloads.
- Merchant analytics, daily ledger recording, UPI payment tracking, and built-in counter utility tools.
3. Merchant Accounts and Store Setup
To use InkMate as a print shop operator, you must register with a valid mobile number and email address, verify ownership via one-time passcode (OTP), and configure your shop profile. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and paired device tokens.
- All print jobs, customer interactions, and rate calculations carried out under your account.
- Ensuring your shop printers and computers comply with standard electrical and network safety requirements.
4. Customer Content and File Handling
InkMate acts as a technical conduit to transfer documents from customers to your local shop printer. We do not inspect, edit, or claim ownership of customer files.
- Ephemeral Processing: Uploaded customer files are held temporarily in cloud cache solely to facilitate rendering and printing. Files are scheduled for automated deletion once spooled or after expiration.
- Prohibited Content: You agree not to use InkMate to knowingly print counterfeit currency, forged government credentials, defamatory materials, child exploitation materials, or documents infringing on third-party intellectual property.
- Local Storage: Files spooled directly to your local machine are subject to your local operating system privacy and folder security practices.
5. Subscriptions, Lifetime Licenses, and Billing
InkMate offers tiered monthly and annual subscription plans as well as one-time lifetime buyout licenses:
- Free Trial: New merchant signups receive a 7-day full Pro trial with no credit card required. At the conclusion of the trial, you may choose a paid tier or continue on the free Starter plan.
- Recurring Subscriptions: Monthly and annual subscriptions are billed in advance in Indian Rupees (INR) through authorized payment gateways (such as Razorpay). You may cancel recurring renewals at any time from your dashboard.
- Lifetime Buyout: A lifetime license grants perpetual access to the platform for the licensed number of shop branches without mandatory annual renewals.
- Taxes: All listed prices are exclusive or inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) as explicitly noted on the checkout invoice.
6. Dedicated Support and Custom Feature Requests
All active paid plans (Pro Shop, Business Fleet, Lifetime Single, Lifetime Fleet) include direct engineer support via phone and WhatsApp.
Paid plan holders may submit custom feature requests. While we work to accommodate reasonable workflow customizations (such as specific printer tray logic or custom receipt formats) within approximately 7 days, we reserve the right to prioritize and architect features to preserve platform stability and security.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, InkMate Technologies Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, resulting from:
- Printer hardware jams, paper exhaustion, ink degradation, or power cuts at the merchant premises.
- Third-party network outages, internet provider disruptions, or WhatsApp API downtime.
- Customer errors in uploading incorrect files or specifying wrong page numbers.
Our total aggregate liability under any circumstances shall be limited to the total amount paid by you to InkMate in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of InkMate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi, India.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms periodically to reflect product updates, regulatory requirements, or business operations. When changes are published, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of InkMate following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
